GMDA enforcement wing to survey the sites of rejected CLU cases, action will be taken against any illegal constructions

Gurugram, 4 March: The GMDA has the jurisdiction to grant CLU cases in 42 villages and these are granted under the Controlled Area Act 41 of 1963.

Recently CTP GMDA conducted a meeting and it was discussed that the cases which has been rejected or returned and even if LOI has been lapsed, there is the need to check the status of all these sites.

Accordingly, DTP GMDA R S Batth has issued orders by forming three teams comprising three members each and headed by concerned ATPs

Mange Ram, Satinder and Anchal will lead these teams and submit the report to DTP GMDA.

It has been noticed that about 135 sites are such which need to be surveyed and the ATPs have started survey.

If it is found that any  construction is still there, it will be treated as illegal and action will be taken as per law. The survey will be completed by GMDA by 10th March.

"If any illegality is found we will take strict action as per law and nobody will be allowed to misuse the land parcel without CLU", said R.S. Batth.
